Some previous results for transients, in a simple resistive model for geomagnetic micropulsations, have been extended to forced oscillations. Resonance does not always occur; but the results that show the clearest resonance are consistent with current thinking, especially with the idea of compressional excitation of micropulsations at an outer boundary. If the model is valid as an empirical analogy, the results favor a resistive mechanism within the plasmasphere, rather than a reactive one.
