The establishment of the dynamical parameters of the moon which characterize the ellipsoid of lunar inertia and its orientation is considered. It is shown that current models of the lunar gravity field give a more or less reliable value of the latitudinal shift of the earthward principal axis of lunar inertia from the mean sub-earth point. An analogous shift in longitude is determined with a greater uncertainty because of the imprecise definition of the S33 harmonic.
