An X-ray fluorescence analyzer on the Vega-2 lander was used to determine the concentrations of the main rock-forming elements from Mg to Fe in the Venus soil as well as certain heavier rare elements. A table is presented giving Vega-2 element concentrations along with corresponding Venera 13, Venera 14, and Luna-20 concentrations. Particular attention is given to methodological problems connected with the determination of S concentration.
