The explosive production of Higgs bosons at preheating in a low energy model of inflation may give rise to the required out of equilibrium state necessary for baryogenesis at the Electroweak scale. Diffusion at that stage ensures a large rate of sphaleron transitions, which may generate the observed baryon number of universe. This results are based on numerical simulations performed in (1+1)-dimensions.
