Scientific paper
Analytic solutions to Maxwell's equations in the Schwarzschild geometry
are given. These are obtained by differentiating a single
superpotential, which is valid (and bounded) at and everywhere outside
the gravitational radius. The results have application to black-hole and
neutron-star electrodynamics.
