Maxwell equations in a background metric discovered by Bonnor (1965), which describes the gravitational field generated by an optimally charged dust ball, are used to calculate the external radiation field from an electric dipole source at the center of the ball. Possible applications to stellar mode 1 s are discussed. The function K-squared(a) for the particular value of m = 2 is shown.
