An EAS detector is proposed which consists of a two-conductor feeder line in the form of a circle of 10-100-m diameter, with one of the conductors spirally wound around the other. Such an induction line is shown to be capable of detecting magnetic fields formed during the passage of EAS charges through the plane of a torus. The principle of operation of the detector and its sensitivity estimates are examined.
