The paper represents the content of five lectures delivered by one of us (V. Belinski) at XIII Brazilian School of Cosmology and Gravitation in Rio de Janeiro at July 2008. The goal was to make the participants familiar with the integrable systems and introduce the way to construct the exact solutions of solitonic type of relativistic gravity equations both in vacuum and in the presence of electromagnetic field. As for the applications we demonstrate the recent discovery of surprisingly simple analytical structure of the equilibrium static state for two arbitrary charged sources together with clarifying some aspects of accompanying repulsive gravity phenomenon.
