Radial velocities, projected dimensions, and morphological descriptions are given for eight southern galaxies or interacting systems together with estimated blue magnitudes of the well-defined objects. Equivalent widths have been determined for the strongest emission lines and used, whenever possible, to estimate electron temperatures, densities, and abundances.
