The spectral energy distribution of Nova Vul 1984 No. 2 about 15 d after
maximum light is derived from photoelectric UBVRIJHK photometry using a
triple-crosswire technique. The stellar core had a B2 Ia spectrum, while
the detached envelope was F5-F8 I. Up to wavelength 2.5 microns there is
no evidence of a dust shell.
