Using measurements of short-wave signal arrival angles for a midlatitude path 5 Mm long, an attempt was made to verify the effectiveness of the description of the ionosphere by various models and with the aid of an interpolation construction of N(h) profiles along the path using data from vertical sounding points of the ionospheric support network. A comparison of measured and calculated values of the arrival angles shows the superiority of the interpolation description of the propagation medium to the other methods considered.
