Computations of the Li I line LTE and NLTE growth curves and profiles in the spectra of two K-giants with an anomalously high content of lithium in their atmospheres are discussed. The system of radiative transfer and statistical equilibrium equations is solved by the linearization method for the six-level lithium atom model. It is shown that the sign and value of the abundance correction depend on the lithium line saturation. Lithium abundances are obtained from a comparison of LTE and NLTE growth curves for Li I resonance-doublet lines.
