The correlation between the solar activity, the behavior of solar system bodies and the natural disasters is reviewed. It is shown that the astronomical factors have obvious inductive, triggering and modulating effects on the natural disasters. It is also noted that, using the data of solar activity and Earth's rotation, not only the trend but also the occurring of some disasters can be predicted by means of monitoring their variations. At the same time, the effects of planetary and lunar motion and their variations on the natural disasters should be further studied.
