Highly accurate space missions such as GAIA, ASTROD and LATOR will demonstrate for the first time the influence of the mass multipole structure of Solar System bodies on light propagation. Here, we present an algorithmic procedure to determine this influence within the Nordtvedt-Will parametrized post-Newtonian formalism; we introduce a general determination of the multipolar coefficients Jn where the internal differential rotation of the gravitating bodies is taken into account.
