Consideration is given to the effects of thermal and nonthermal electron-positron pair production upon the structure of two-temperature accretion disks and upon the two-temperature criterion in quasi-spherical accretion flows, by balancing pair creation with annihilation and inflow. It is found that thermal pair creation is unimportant in both the disk and the quasi-spherical flows for reasonable values of parameters consistent with the observed spectra of active galactic nuclei. However, pairs produced nonthermally can overwhelm ions and significantly alter the flow structure for a wide range of parameter values.
