Consideration is given to the structure of radio jets from quasars and
active galactic nuclei. An analysis is made of the spiral structure of
radio jets stabilized by gasdynamic pressure and a longitudinal magnetic
field. The dependence of the spiral twist angle on the ratio between
sound velocity and Alfven velocity in the stream is examined.
