Analytical expressions are obtained for satellite orbit perturbations caused by the earth's thermal emission. Radiation effects are represented in the form of a series incorporating expansion coefficients of thermal-emission layer density with respect to spherical functions of geocentric coordinates. Harmonic coefficients of thermal emission are computed from meteorological satellite data.
