For the conditions of the Vertikal'-4, 6, 7 rocket experiments in the height region 120-500 km, solutions are presented for a system of continuity equations for the concentrations of vibrationally excited nitrogen and oxygen, equations for determining the corresponding vibrational quanta, and equations for determining the electron temperature. It is shown that the increase in electron temperature due to energy flux from vibrationally excited nitrogen is less than 30-40 K.
