We consider the decay of magnetic fields in neutron star's crust by using the general relativistic form of Maxwell's equations and Ohm's law in a stationary axisymmetric gravitational field of a rotating object. It is shown there is one more Coriolis (and gravitomagnetic) force mechanism (in addition to the well known ohmic dissipation, Hall drift, ambipolar diffusion, thermoelectric effects, etc.) that promotes the loss of magnetic field from an isolated neutron star. The role played by the effect of Coriolis force on the evolution of magnetic field in the neutron star crusts is discussed.
