Study of the X-ray scattered halo around obscured Galactic X-ray sources can provide insights into the size, density, composition and spatial distribution of interstellar grains. Eclipsing X-ray binary systems offer unique advantages, as the evolution of the halo following an abrupt eclipse depends on the distance and distribution of clouds. A high-resolution spectrum will further provide rich information on the interstellar matter composition.
