For several decades eclipsing binary systems have been under study at Lewis & Clark College. The 44i Bootes system consists of 3 stars. Two of these orbit each other with a period of 6.5 hours. Data is collected from a Meade LX200 and recorded using an SBIG ST-7E CCD camera. We have compiled data that suggests a slowly increasing period for these stars. This is contrary to the predictions of a naïve model in which the stars approach one another.
