Observations of [O III] profiles with an echelle spectrograph have revealed particularly well the 150 km s-1 expansion of the outer region of the Seyfert nucleus of NGC 1068 as well as the velocity strncture in the inner broad-line region. These results complement several observations made by previous authors. A schematic model is devised to relate the radio and optical features of this nucleus.
