From our recent findings published in ApJ, we will show how the retrograde precession of the Earth due to tidal torques by the Sun and the Moon is related to the retrograde precession of other primaries in binaries that have different geometric shapes. The geometric shape we target in this presentation is an accretion disk, a shape that is likely present in non-magnetic Cataclysmic Variable Dwarf Novae systems that show negative superhumps in their light curves. We show how our numerical simulations match our analytical expressions and with select observational systems. We will also show how the geometric shape of a primary celestial object that is tilted and spinning affects the system's angular momentum and retrograde precession.
