A catalog is presented of early-type emission-line stars obtained by cross-identification between Wackerling's catalog and the IRAS catalog of point sources. A study of the distribution in space of the stars shows that these stars belong to the extreme Population I; thus the present compilation provides a rather complete sample for further study of the evolution of pre- and post-main sequence stars of medium and high masses.
