At this time we are continuing to build the BYU Variable Star Database. This database is to facilitate observations of a variety of short period variable stars such as delta Scuti, lambda Bootis, gamma Doradus, and RR Lyrae. We have made use of this database to take data on three variable stars: V1162 Orionis, V959 Ophiuchi, and KZ Hydrae. We will report results for these three stars. These are important first steps in testing the database system. This is especially true since BYU is currently bringing three telescopes online, a 0.6 m telescope and two 0.4 m telescopes.
