Grain growth is a necessary step in the formation of planets in young stellar systems. Spectral index variations between envelope material and dust material at millimeter wavelengths provide evidence for substantial grain growth in the disks of two embedded sources in SVS 13. Once grains become larger than the observing wavelength, the effects of scattering must be included in disk models. High resolution, wide-field images at 1.3 and 2.6 mm from the BIMA Array provide the .3" resolution necessary to model these disks and constrain some of their physical parameters. The BIMA Array is operated by the Berkeley-Illinois-Maryland Association under funding from the National Science Foundation. Support for this work is provided by NASA.
