We present the results of a large set of N-body experiments examining the dynamical evolution of open clusters during gas removal. Single mass models are used to examine the effects of initial virial ratio, star formation efficiency, gas removal time scale, and delay time between the end of star formation and the onset of gas removal. Additionally, we use bimodal mass distributions to study the effects of an initially segregated versus an initially unsegregated mass distribution as well as the effects of the mass ratio, temperature ratio, and number ratio of the two components. Results are used to predict the initial physical conditions required to form a bound cluster and to describe the stars which are ejected during the formation of such a cluster.
