It is shown that the last sudden outbursts in the activity of the Lyrids occurred near the centers of the 1:j-prime resonances with Jupiter. This finding and the observed characteristics of meteoroid showers indicate a librational type of motion. The librations can persist for more than 2700 for j prime less than 14. If the Lyrids showers observed in 686 BC and in 1803, 1922, and 1982 have a comon origin, then j-prime = 5.
