High resolution (about 0.5 arcsec) 2D spectra have been obtained with the Multichannel Subtractive Double Pass spectrograph of the Pic du Midi Observatory in a quiet region at the solar disk center. The adapted image processing which provides 2D intensity and velocity maps of the solar granulation, at two intensity levels of the line NaD2, is described. A quantitative evaluation of the spatial resolution is determined both for the intensity and velocity granulation fields.
