This paper considers the dynamics of slender magnetic fluxtubes in geometrically thin accretion disks. These tubes can contribute to the non-molecular (anomalous) accretion disk viscosity. In this paper, the slender fluxtube theory is shortly reviewed. Also, the effects of finite optical thickness, radiation pressure and rotating frame of reference are considered. Finally, an energy equation is found which takes into account hydrodynamic drag and the heat-exchange between a slender fluxtube and its surroundings.
