The dynamics of a satellite with n statically and dynamically balanced rotors moving along a circular orbit in a central Newtonian force field is analyzed. For a system composed of a satellite and a damping rotor, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the asymptotic stability of the equilibrium position are obtained and the time-optimal parameters of the system are determined. For an orbiting gyrostat experiencing the action of gravitational and aerodynamic moments, the equilibrium positions in an orbital system of coordinates are obtained, and their stability is analyzed by Liapunov's second method. The influence of a constant moment on the attitude of the satellite is evaluated.
