For a given configuration of nuclei in a three-dimensional space, a procedure for constructing the corresponding Voronoi diagram is presented. A similar procedure is derived to explore the case in which the signals starting from the nuclei are still expanding. The theory is tentatively applied to the SN explosions in the Galactic center and to the cluster's arcs.
