This report presents statistical relationships between dynamical features in the photosphere and chromosphere in quiet-Sun internetwork regions. Short-duration Fourier analysis is combined with statistical correlation to establish correspondence between granulation features and oscillation amplitudes in the photosphere and the presence of Ca II K$2V$ bright points in the overlying chromosphere. The results agree with the time delays between photospheric cause and chromospheric effect in the numerical simulations of acoustic shock propagation by Carlsson \& Stein (1994)
