The effects of dynamical friction on massive objects or globular clusters that can be considered as having initial velocities characteristic of disk-population objects in a rotating galaxy are investigated. Numerical experiments on dynamical friction in a rotating disk galaxy are discussed in relation to the observed lack of a disk system of globular clusters in the Galaxy. It is shown that dynamical friction is adequate to destroy the substantial initial peculiar motions of hypothesized disk globular clusters within about 10 billion years and that more massive clusters (some 500,000 solar masses or greater) will spiral into the nuclear bulge within the same time period. The results also indicate that the decay time for peculiar motion does not depend critically on the assumed values of velocity dispersion on the density distribution, especially in the z direction.
