Coupling of the neutron superfluid in the core of a neutron star to the rest of the star is discussed, assuming no pinning for the superfluid vortices. The earlier calculation of the relevant dynamical coupling timescale is shown to be incomplete. The corrected timescale is shorter by an order of magnitude; hence the observationally inferred upper limit on the core-coupling time remains much larger than, and in agreement with, the new predicted value.
