Computing the maximum and minimum values of the eccentricities and inclinations as functions of the arguments of perihelion for about 7000 numbered asteroids by adopting a simple model it is found that 80 have the minimum perihelion distances less than 1.04 AU. Still, it is proved that 20% of them have no chance of colliding with the Earth, whereas 30 of them have relatively high collision probability as they have orbits similar to those of typical short-period comets.
