An experimental study was carried out to investigate combination frequency signals that were generated during the modulation of ionospheric current systems by high-intensity radio emission. During the study, the spectral characteristics of the magnetic field of the signals were recorded on the ground and processed in real time using a computer. It is shown that most of the information on the structure and special features of the ionospheric source of combination frequency signals is provided by field polarization characteristics.
