Studies of the dust emission in dwarf galaxies are of fundamental importance to our understanding of the nature of the low-metallicity ISM. We present new results on dwarf galaxies studied as part of the SINGS legacy program. These high-sensitivity data allow spatially resolved studies of the dust emission in low-mass systems. In-depth studies of NGC 1705, NGC 6822, IC 2574, Holmberg II, and other dwarfs in the M81 group show pronounced scatter in the relative strengths of recombination line, infrared, and radio continuum emission. We discuss important science themes using these data, including: the impact of star formation on the local ISM; the correlation between dust and neutral gas; the far infrared-radio correlation; PAH emission in dwarf galaxies; and the comparison of infrared emission in dwarfs with that in more massive galaxies.
