Dust size and outflow velocity distributions have been extracted from Hubble Space Telescope images of Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 (S-L 9) via Monte Carlo modeling, and results shall be reported. Despite recent reports to the contrary, S-L 9 definitely was an active, dust--producing comet. The dust size and velocity distributions for fragments G, H, K, and L shall be given, as well as their mass loss rates ~ 20 kg/sec, the dust phase coefficient, and upper limits on the fragments' diameter.
