Using a modelling process for the dynamics of particulates emitted from Halley at distances much smaller than the apex of the dust envelope, fluxes measured by Giotto DIDSY and Vega 2 are traced back to Halleycentric nucleus co-ordinates to yield a unified comparison of the two data sources. Mass distribution indices are interrelated, and, of particular significance, properties of the angular source distribution of Halley relative to the sub-solar emission point are examined. Variability of the nucleus emission rate is discussed.
