Using a liquid argon ionization chamber the 2νββ decay of 100Mo was detected with its half-life of [6.8 ± 1.1(stat) ± 1.4(syst)] · 1018 y. The limits on half-lives for 0ν- and 0ν χ 0-decays of 100Mo were estimated as 6.4(3.4) · 1021 y and 2.8(2.2) · 1020 y respectively at 68(90) % CL. Available world data for the 2νββ decay of 100Mo lead to the mean " world" value of the half-life, T1/2 = (7.9 ± 0.7) · 1018 y, that corresponds to the nuclear matrix element, MGT = 0.119 ± 0.005.
