A new series of lunar occultations of the Galactic Center takes place during the period 1986-1989. The previous series of Galactic Center occultations occurred in 1968-1970. That series revealed that the continuum radio source, Sgr A, consists of at least two components (now known as Sgr A West and Sgr A East) and that the continuum source is surrounded by a rotating and contracting cloud of dust and molecules. It could be rewarding to observe the new series of occultations at X-ray, infrared and radio wavelengths. Occultation predictions are available from the author upon request.
