Temperature gradients between telescope mirrors and the surrounding air are a primary source of dome seeing: daytime air conditioning can minimize this effect. We present preliminary results of a feasibility study, where neural-network and Kalman-filter approaches were applied in order to produce a temperature forecasting system for Galileo Telescope. The TNG automatic weather station is also described.
