The data from Davis's (1968, 1976) experiment to measure the solar neutrino flux are analyzed by the successive-difference, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, and chi-squared methods. A comparison is also made against Monte Carlo simulations by Cleveland. Davis's data do not contravene the hypothesis that the Ar-37 production rate remains constant, except the two points would exceed the likely statistical fluctuations, provided the background events have a Poisson distribution and statistical analysis itself does not distort the distribution function. The fulfillment of these two conditions must be tested.
