We present Brackett-gamma observations of 63 Herbig Ae/Be candidate stars. Herbig Ae/Be stars are the higher mass analogues of T Tauri stars. Both are young stellar objects accreting material from a
circumstellar disk. In T Tauri stars, there is a well established corelation between Brackett-gamma luminosity and mass accretion luminosity, and thus mass accretion rate. We seek to determine if this corelation holds true for Herbig Ae/Be stars, and how well it corelates based on spectral type. We will compare the Brackett-gamma luminosity of each our sample stars to the mass accretion rate as measured by other independent methods. If the corelation is valid for Herbig stars, astronomers will have a relatively simple, straightforward method for measuring the mass accretion rate.
