The Djehuty project at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is planning to tackle a great variety of stellar-structural problems with a 3-D hydrodynamic and thermodynamic code. We plan to evolve entire stars, including all the major physical processes in a realistic manner. The project is in its early stages, but we describe a few preliminary results, and discuss our aims for the future.
Work performed at LLNL is supported by the DOE under contract W7405-ENG-48
