This paper analyzes new data on the far-infrared emission from dust in the galactic center. Its conclusions are: (1) the central dust cloud has a radius of 14 pc and a fairly constant density of about 10 to the -19th power kg/cu m; (2) the dust temperature is proportional to the 1/6 power of the star distribution, reaching 40 K at a distance r = 20 pc; and (3) the star distribution is proportional to the -9/4 power of r for r = 0.12-18 pc. The last conclusion is consistent with a model of the central star cluster that is perturbed by a black hole with stars diffusing outward.
