More than eight years of impact data from the Pioneer 8 and Pioneer 9 cosmic dust experiments indicate that the distribution of cosmic dust particles of mass 10 to the -17th kg and larger is an increasing function of heliocentric distance between 0.94 AU and 1.1 AU. The minimum flux occurred at a heliocentric distance of 0.94 AU and the maximum flux at 1.04 AU. It is concluded that production rate of hyperbolic cosmic dust (Beta Meteoroid) appears to increase in this heliocentric distance range.
