Scientific paper

A sample of 2227 galaxies belonging to the Local Supercluster is
studied. The orientation of galaxy planes with respect to the principal
plane of the Local Supercluster is analyzed and they are shown to be
perpendicular to it. It is also demonstrated that the observed
anisotropy is not due to observational errors.
