The distribution of cosmic-ray electron flux in the Galaxy is examined based on studies of the gamma-ray flux produced by electrons interacting in the interstellar medium. SAS 2 satellite data in the energy range 35-100 MeV, in which electron bremsstrahlung is prevalent, is coupled with information on the distribution of target gas in the Galaxy to provide distributions of cosmic-ray electrons as a function of galactocentric radius between 7 and 13 kpc in the vicinity of the sun. Results indicate decreases in intensity with galactocentric radii greater than 10 kpc and less than 2 kpc.
